{"schema":"threatline.record/2","record":{"id":"CVE-2026-93639","aliases":[],"summary":"Zimbra Collaboration Suite Missing Authorization in ConfigureZimlet Enables Delegated Administrator Privilege Escalation","details":"A missing authorization vulnerability in Zimbra Collaboration Suite (ZCS) allows a delegated administrator with no explicit administrative grants to overwrite global Zimlet configuration through ConfigureZimletRequest. The uploaded configuration can also add an attacker-controlled domain to the proxy allowlist of the default class of service. If a signed-in user in that class opens a crafted /service/proxy URL, Zimbra serves attacker-controlled HTML under its own origin. The resulting JavaScript can read mailbox data and perform authenticated actions as the victim. Exploitation requires a delegated-administrator account and access to the admin SOAP service; the browser compromise additionally requires the victim to open the crafted URL. ZCS 10.1.16 and 10.1.20 are affected.","categories":["Applications & CMS"],"product":"Zimbra Collaboration Suite","vendor":"Zimbra","ecosystem":null,"affected_ranges":[{"source":"CVE List","source_url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-93639","source_modified_at":"2026-10-23T13:29:25.939Z","fetched_at":"2026-10-23T18:42:43.628194Z","product":"Zimbra Collaboration Suite","vendor":"Zimbra","versions":[{"status":"affected","version":"0","lessThanOrEqual":"10.1.20","versionType":"semver"}],"defaultStatus":"unaffected"}],"fixed_versions":[],"cvss":8.7,"severity":"High","kev":{"listed":false},"epss":{"probability":null,"percentile":null,"score_date":null},"published_at":"2026-10-23T13:29:25.939Z","modified_at":"2026-10-23T13:29:25.939Z","provenance":[{"source":"CVE List","url":"https://www.cve.org/CVERecord?id=CVE-2026-93639","fetched_at":"2026-10-23T18:42:43.628194Z","source_modified_at":"2026-10-23T13:29:25.939Z"}],"sources":["CVE List"],"references":[{"source":"CVE List","url":"https://wiki.zimbra.com/wiki/Zimbra_Security_Advisories","tags":["vendor-advisory"]},{"source":"CVE List","url":"https://www.rapid7.com/blog/post/ve-breaking-zimbra-identity-boundaries-part-1/","tags":["related"]}],"locations":[],"motoko_assessment":{"status":"requires_architecture_review","automatic_remediation":false},"cve_state":"PUBLISHED","cvss_source":"CVE List","classification":{"method":"product-first software-layer rules","rules_version":"2.1","matched_on":"product","confidence":"heuristic","reviewed":false},"change_timestamp":"2026-10-23T13:29:25.939Z","content_hash":"dcc669ef30c49ee4c194c01ee23f12bf181616535bf8a89f61ea38d6e2a4e126"}}
